Shanice got two girls out in one play on 1st base and ended the first inning (she caught the ball and got the hitter out, and tacked the girl that was going to run to 2nd, but had to go back to 1st).... you go Shanice! The video clip shows the 1st base player being in Shanice's way and running into her, without having the ball. The umpires did not call it. Shanice and the coaches were so mad...

Yeah, a win!!! (13:11). Shanice was the last hitter of the game and had to run, no matter what... 2nd base barely missed her, but then she got tacked by the catcher as she was running towards home plate (see video clip below).

FMS vs. Mesa Ridge

The Fountain Middle School (FMS) Lady Trojans are playing in a High School League this summer to get ready for the Fall Softball season. They lost this game, but playing against older girls should improve their skill level over the summer. Shanice played 1st and 3rd base.

The FRIT

The girls participated in the FRIT tournament (Front Range Invitational) at the United States Air Force Academy this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Congratulations to a 4th place!

The new "Baby"

Shanice was heartbroken over the disappearance of her cat, Calidor. Hopefully, caring for this new, 2 months old, adorable kitten from the Humane Society will help her over it a little. We are still deciding on a name. In the run are: Little John, Lil Calidor, Winkle, or Bubbles.

The final game of the season was unfortunately against a fellow club team. It still was a good game to watch. Shanice tipped the ball over the cross bar, which was a great safe.

Corinthians Red vs. CO Elite FC

Yeah.... another win (2:0)!!! The girls finally got to play in Castle Rock after the game was cx'ed twice. The game started @ 8pm and shortly after halftime the lights went out. It took about 30 min before they came back on, by that time it had began to rain... but who is to complain....we won ;-). We've ended the day with "breakfast" at Village Inn and made it back to Fountain after Midnight.

The girls won again (1:0). Shanice only let 1 goal in during the last 3 games! You go girl! We've played at home this time, which was nice after the last few away games that were quite a distance to travel.

Corinthians Black vs. Pueblo Showcase Reserve

Yeah! The boys showed up to play in Pueblo and won 2:0.

Omi's 90th Birthday

I am so grateful that my parents gave me the opportunity to see Omi for her 90th B-day. It was a very short trip, but so worth it. We love you, Omi!

Colorado Rapids vs. DC United

This was the first Colorado Rapids game the kids and I have seen. We've had a really good time and the Rapids actually defeated DC 2:0.

Corinthians Red vs. Bootleggers White

We traveled all the way to Greeley for this game, and it was well worth it... the girls won 2:0! Go Eagles! (by the way, the video with Asia is my favorite...)
